A bit of background...

About Kevin

A Southern California native with moves to San Francisco, Boston and more recently the Delaware Valley near Princeton and New Hope, I feel fortunate to be able live in amazing places. The beauty of the Bay Area, New England, the rural Valley and access to NY and Philly, inspire and influence me.

My father counted creativity among his many talents, and my mother is well known for her furniture rearranging (at 92 it has become her exercise program) so there is some genetic disposition involved. My design work began taking formation while in the real estate world of Boston, working with homeowners in preparing their properties for the market, essentially 'staging' before it became known in that way. When working with purchasers I was able to utilize some of my construction experience to help them visualize a space differently and providing ideas of changes to make it 'their own.' Assisting builders in choice of finishes was also part of my gig.

After relocation to New Hope and renovating our home there I began to consult friends and soon after started Chapel Road Design. A return to college for a Certificate in Interior Residential Design and I felt I had started in earnest. Developing a clientele and participating in three Designer Houses, word was spreading. Bringing in my real estate background, and seeing the newest trend towards staging, I renewed my connections to the Realtor world. My involvement with the Bucks County Association of Realtors convinced me to pursue my licenses for both local states, PA and NJ.

Altogether, it has become a wonderful skill set, happily allowing me to practice many of the talents I enjoy. I offer a high level of service to all my clients and have a perspective that considers the diverse aspects of what we expect in our homes.
